Granite Salt & Topaz Necklace

Description

Granite Salt & Topaz Necklace: a granite-textured silver pendant with a faceted London Blue Topaz.  A distinctive chain and water cast features gives the necklace an a-symmetrical, contemporary look.  The handmade clasp and striking topaz finish the piece.

This collection has been inspired by water and the ocean.  Each shape is made using recycled silver and cast into Atlantic Ocean seawater.  The result is these fluid unique and organic shapes. Some of the casts are reminiscent of water droplets or splashes on rocks, others of sea beans – seed pods that move around the ocean and can be carried for thousands of miles between continents.
