Salt Cup Pendant

Description

A deep, dramatic salt cup casting, hung from a silver jump ring.  This pendant is a real eye-catcher and a gorgeous cup shape from where the molten silver hit the cold Atlantic Ocean seawater.

This collection has been inspired by water and the ocean.  Each shape is made using recycled silver and cast into Atlantic Ocean seawater.  The result is these fluid unique and organic shapes. Some of the casts are reminiscent of water droplets or splashes on rocks, others of sea beans – seed pods that move around the ocean and can be carried for thousands of miles between continents.

Casting size: 12 x 12 mm
